Camp Euforia needs VOLUNTEERS!
A CALL TO ARMS!! (Many arms, in fact)
This amazing event could not be possible without help from our family and friends. Are you interested in helping out at Camp Euforia? We need you! There’s lots of work to be done…
Applications for Camp Euforia 2014 are now closed!!!
Please contact us directly at email@example.com for any details, or needs we still need to fill.
All volunteers will require ticket purchase, and will be eligible for reimbursement following the festival. There will be no ticketing difference between volunteers and boring ole non-volunteers, this year. So get your tickets, and sign up to help out… you’ll get yer cash back!
Here is a list of commonly asked questions surrounding volunteering:
Can I sign up as a volunteer when I get to the event?
You can absolutely stop by the volunteer booth at Camp, and see what you can do to help. Since all volunteers must purchase ticket and receive a confirmation from our volunteer coordinator before the festival, there are a couple hoops to jump through. We absolutely do not want to turn away a helping hand, so if you have such a heart, but can’t make the commitment early, we understand… and stop by and say hello! We’ll see what needs we have, and, as long as you had pre-purchased a ticket, we should be able to work something out.
What Jobs will volunteers do?
- Greeting & Entrance: Being the first welcoming smile, providing general info, and directing traffic
- Manning the Volunteer Tent and carding/wrist-banding those over 21
- Parking and traffic coordination
- Working the gate: ticketing, traffic, parking, and managing the crazy folks coming in!
What are the time requirements?
All Camp Euforia volunteers will be required to work 8-9 hours. These hours will be divided up throughout the weekend, and includes a 2 hour mass clean-up party on Sunday. Normally, a three hour shift on each day, plus Sunday, will fulfill the need. There are a couple exceptions, based on specific shift times, and Camp needs, but they are small (an extra hour for a couple of the shifts).
What happens if I am relieved of my job due to intoxication?
All volunteers that are under the influence and not able to perform their job will be asked to leave their post and no refund will be awarded. There are absolutely no exceptions.
How do I pay?
You will be required to purchase in advance via credit or debit card. We cannot stress this enough. Pay-at-the-gate tickets cannot be refunded, and we would hate for you to miss out on your reward for your hard work. After purchasing a ticket, you will receive a confirmation email, with a ticket confirmation code. When signing up to volunteer, please enter the confirmation code where needed.
When do Camp Euforia volunteers get their refund?
We do everything that we can, to make sure that volunteers that have completed all shifts, receive their refund within 2 weeks following Camp Euforia.
What happens if I sign-up to volunteer and fail to show up for a shift, or to the festival at all?
All volunteers that do not show up to work a shift or even show up at the festival at all, forfeit their refund. We hate to sound so strict, but you are a very important part of Camp, and many people are relying on you, once we have you scheduled. It just wouldn’t be fair to the other volunteers, and to the Camp.
- The CE Volunteer Staff provides a tremendous amount of help each year at the event. We would like to continually thank them for their participation and dedication.
- Nothing better than having this amazing experience for free!!!
- It could not be done with out you…
See you at the Gate!
